On the Wind My Scent to Catch

The night was cold, dense, her ears twitching towards every individual sound that they were able to catch. Her steps were silent, her maw bloodied as she had recently eaten from a fresh kill. She licked her chops to clean the remaining blood from her nearly perfectly white fur. The wind shifted, her snout raising to catch the... different scents that flew to her on the breeze. She paused mid-step, smelling what seemed to be many species of animals that wouldn't ordinarily living near eachother, doing just that. This caught both her attention and curiosity. However, along with this interesting news, held the scent of water. As soon as the scent entered her nose she remembered she was quite thirsty and began heading towards it's source.
Once the water was reached, she spent no time in entering it and none too gracefully.She didn't care how much noise she made as she lept in and drank her fill. Afterwards, she tarted to swim, enjoying the refreshing feeling of cold water. She swam under the water for what seemed to be several minutes before rising with a fish in her jaws. She made her way to shore before shaking and devouring the fish as a snack. There she layed as she began to groom herself, showing no fear or caution as it was almost simply forgotten.

His icy blue eyes shone through the night, looking easily at anything or anyone, his round ears perked to the front, catching any sound around his white body. He let out a big yawn, showing his deadly fangs to the shook his mane freely, liking the night and the fresh air it brought. His big paws moved slowly over the rocks and branches, caring to not make a single sound. He couldn’t sleep tonight, and most of the shifters, or intruders, liked to appear in the night. Normally his instincts would say to sleep during the day, but being a human for so long changed a bit his customs. Another yawn came, annoying him this time as he was tired, but instead of going back he continued his patrol along the land’s border.

Suddenly a new scent came into his nostrils, telling another feline was near, not a lion, but one he knew well because of the Regina, a tiger. It wasn’t her, or Diallo, another one came and he suspected it could be another attempt to be part of the pack. He followed the scent quickly and quietly, using the wind in his front to not reveal his own scent. His ears noticing the unusual movement of water. Finally he reached the river, a white tiger laid at the edge, licking her paws and wet fur from a recent bath. Walking slowly he got closer to her but never revealing his position. Speaking low and confident, a note of power in his voice along with a growl came from the shadows to reach her ears. “May I ask what are your matters inside the Shifters territory, miss?”

This startled her immensely. She was quick to crouch down, head low with ears back and teeth viewable. She had always been fast moving, agile, and quick to meet greetings or those that startle her, like this fellow here. She soon stopped showing aggressive behavier towards this other white feline. Though, unlike her, it wasn't tiger. She gazed at him intensely with bright green eyes, recognizing dominance when she heard it. She made slight growling noises before her response. "I have come in search of others like me. I'm tired of hiding and wouldn't mind the company. I would be a decent border patrol for this territory as my sences are keen, my reflexes fast. However, I could also assist in the hunt if you would allow me to do so." She gazed at him still, the look in her eye still quite cautious and still ready to move if replied with a no.

He looked at her calmed but also ready to attack back if her actions grow to another level, relaxing slightly when she did. Hearing attentively her words he moved closer into the clearing, the light of the moon illumination his strong features, his icy eyes calmed and a bit friendly. A low growl forming in his throat before speaking. "My apologies if I startled you. What is your name, miss?" His posture was relaxed but never putting down his defense. "I would also like to know your data, if you allow me, your age, a piece of your history I should know, but above all, why would you like to join a pack composed by all kinds of shifters?"
