| Upon opening her bright eyes to the sun's irritable greetings, she laid in bed for hours, only to then soon strip away the covers and eventually stand to her two feet in the intentions of actually doing something with her time. Her long lochs of dark ebony brown were a mess as they fell from the crown of her head and passed her shoulders, swirled in and out in extended waves till it reached the small of her toned back. Nothing more than a dark colored bra and ripped short-shorts upon her body other than the sun's gentle golden kiss to paint her entire canvas of flesh. The sound of the woods whispering outside her resides was enough to make her yawn and stretch before the sunlight, using it to it's personal advantage so that she'd finally wake up for once. As she did so, her silvers peered out into the distance to what lie waiting - adventure. All her life she had spent her time walking, traveling the open road and twists and turns to what the land was carved into. Now she had a reason to stay, or at least, for a while, that is until she decided there was something better for her out there than staying here for the rest of her pack-living. Her former beloved was out there, conquering something to what Vitani could never see herself to strive for unless handed it, however, her Alpha was the original, not her, and that made him far more important than any of their kind combined.
The tips of her fangs sharpened to a threatening point behind her perfectly plump lips, as she was growing tired of the happiness within the area to a point where she was about to growl to the heavens loudly enough to wake the entire pack. But she didn't, being demoted for that would only give her more of a reason to hate staying in places for very long, she needed to more, to travel - to run. The thought of sprinting out of reach from her pack's civilization made the corners of her cheeks rise and mold into a hopeful smirk, her eyes a wet, shimmery moon-like silver.
Grabbing her needed things together, she made the effort of packing it as neatly as she could in her small athletic bag. It had not taken long for her to brush her hair, though usually she just let it do as it pleased, as it never was the type to ever agree with her, not in primal nor in human form, that is. With ease, she strapped the bag over her shoulder. Before doing so, she slipped on a thin, white cover that was knitted into a sweater to what ended towards the mid of her abdomen. Underneath, she wore a tribal, light grey, blue and white bikini that only covered the intimate areas as small as possible against her toned curves. Her hip-bones jutted out of her lower stomach just above the string that held her bottoms together, slowly reaching up to view the little exposure of her boney ribs just below her sweater's hem. With that being done, Vitani strolled over to fix her hair once more before stepping out the mouth of her den and shift into her radiant other within seconds. The phasing was no longer as painful as it had been before, for she had performed it a plentiful amounts of times within her days of life and so forth. Now-a-days, it was almost a part of her, like as if she was used to the pain so much it didn't even make her flinch or cry. Looking left and right to see if anyone were watching, she was off into the forestry without a sound, dodging what was in her way and running with the wind like she had been born to do since the very beginning.
As she arrived to the destination, she peeked out of the shadows that roared with the echos of waves and silently poked her head out to see further of the land. When the coast was clear, the lycan peeled back into her human suit and exchanged positions to step out onto the soft sand that slid between her toes at contact. White rocks that stood above the surface of the water were crashed with the tide, smacked by it's pressure and over-lapped with the substance, only to become washed over once more. Her eyes watched as the waves came in and reversed back into the ocean, walking into a mild pace away from the timber to meet a shaded area where she could safely leave her things so that they'd not get stolen. She looked at her phone to remember the time and turn it off so that she would not become distracted with incoming messages or calls, only to switch the device for an iPod and small speaker to plug into it. Vitani there decided to make her own little party on the empty beach, taking advantage of the loneliness to take off her cover-up and untie the top-half of her bikini so that her breasts were exposed. At the sun's response, it instantly warmed her body and made her back glisten after she rubbed in a tanning lotion into her skin. Turning up the music louder, the werewolf lightly bobbed her head to the music and started after the water's edge - inch by inch dipping her figure into the ocean with each step she took in becoming swallowed by it's crystal surface.
Her head remained above the water so that she would easily breath, some surfaces of her body coming up above the water-line while the rest stayed floating beneath it in peace. Controlling her self to balance, she held out her arms and legs to glide over the top of the water on her back, resting her head backwards as she closed her eyes due to the blinding light from above. Her hair wove out in strange directions, spreading outwards as if they were the snakes of Medussa's head, weaving in and out with the current passing through. As her eyes stayed closed and the calls of seagulls above began to die off into the rest of the world, she contracted her muscles to relax and slowly began to drift off as she floated silently in one place. |

| A blade of sunlight pierced through the white blinds on the window and across her right eye and corner of her mouth. Immediately she scrunched her face and rolled over to the left; being closer to the edge of the bed than she thought the knight tumbled to the floor. The blankets still surrounded her, keeping her rolled up as she groaned in annoyance. "God dammit it all." She hissed under her breath as she placed a hand on the bed and pushed up, sitting herself up. More blades of pale sunlight poked through the blinds and across the bed and she scratched her head, licking the inside of her mouth as she stood. The curtains hadn't been closed the night prior for some reasons - suppose she forgot. Quickly the blue eyed vampire leaped over the bed and took the curtains in each hand at their tops and slammed her fists together; closing the curtains and returning the room to a dim grey. Hopping back into bed Arkati realized that not only was it pointless to go back to bed and that she couldn't..once woken it was nearly impossible for her to go back to rest.
Now sitting in a cover-less bed just staring at the ceiling the vampire glanced to the door and then to her dresser. Quickly she was over to her dresser; standing naked in the middle of her room as she opened the top drawer; taking out a blue swimsuit to match her eyes. The two pieces quickly placed on her body as she took out a baggy shirt with a worn out logo. Acid wash high waisted shorts were then placed over her swimsuit bottom. Soon the room became brighter as the sun began penetrating the curtains. Soon she packed a small drawstring bag with extra clothes and she swung in over her shoulders and put on some white sandals before slipping out her room door. The hallway was long and she ran down it in a silent blur soon she was out the front door and walking down the drive-way. The cool temperature of the morning cooled her body as she made her way to Lake Cadence for a cool swim.
She walked with a soft clap of her sandals as she reached her hand back for her large sunglasses and placed them on as she continued on at a slow pace. The trees on each side of her softly rustled in the breeze, the leaves at the top crashed against one another violently, looking like chaos but making only soft rustling sounds. Looking back forward her icy blue eyes glanced around as her head remained straight forward. Now the whole world was silent, no wind or scream. Not a whisper or whine. It was a bit too silent but the knight continued on toward her destination. As it grew closer and closer she heard music; soon she was weaving through trees - still at a soft walk and kept her eye trained on any shadow movement. Soon she could see from the shadows of the tree-line a floating body...seeming to be topless and Arkati smirked before glancing around. No one else seemed to be around. She clenched her jaw as her perfectly pointed fangs began poking into her pink gums before she parted her mouth slightly. Soon she forced them away and walked out from the trees onto the soft sand. Slipping the sandals from her feet she took her sunglasses off as well as all other clothing but her swimsuit and ruffled her hair before standing halfway in the shade of a tree halfway in the sun. Staring at the floating body in the cool ocean. | |

| Ever the consummate explorer, Darius had decided to venture further out into the Neutral Lands after work before heading back to lands he now called his home. The smell of fresh water had lured him out, along with the need to get rid of some energy and adrenaline he was still feeling from jumping, leaping and rolling along with running across the roof-tops of buildings non-stop for a climatic action scene that had the person he was doubling as escaping from a super-human cyborg. It was spring-time in the air, the scents of blooming flowers and sweet, spring grass. He slowed down a little as he pulled off his shirt, leaving just the shorts on to reveal a muscular, broad chest and powerful, thick arms from centuries upon centuries of training. Sweat glistened from it, clinging to his hair which gleamed dark brown in the sun. His skin was rough, though unscarred for the time being except for that burn mark on the palm of his hand before he was turned. He would never be able to get rid of that. He stopped, one hand pressing against the trunk of a tree and bent over to pull off his shoe then moved onto the next one. As he did, the scent of another werewolf, a female one, crept into his senses. He started to grin happily. Brilliant. Throwing them aside, he made his way in the general direction of the water, spying a lake in the distance with a figure half-submerged not far from the edge of the bank. Music filtered through the air from a speaker connected to an I-Pod sitting on the ground. Then another scent infiltrated his nose, one which he had become all too familiar with. And he saw her as a black dot, standing in the shade of one of the trees her back turned. A growl rumbled from his chest, one that wasn’t audible from this distance. A vampire. His handsome features rippled, just ever so slightly as his human form twitched. As he watched, she emerged from the trees out onto the sand taking her sun-glasses off followed by her clothes leaving only her swimsuit intact. Darius padded to the right a little so that he had a clearer view of the vampire, heading straight after that. These were neutral grounds so all bets were off. Anything could happen in the neutral grounds. Stepping out of the trees near her left and a little to his pack-mate’s right in her field of vision, he looked at the vampire with hard, light brown eyes. Usually, they would be more open and friendlier especially when it involved the opposite sex. She was objectively, beautiful but she was a vampire and he was not so naïve to believe that her intentions were completely pure. And perhaps she was playing an intimidation game or trying to throw his pack-mate off guard. The stare was anything but innocent. He said in a warning, growling voice,“I’d stop staring at her if I were you vampire or one would think you’re out to hurt her.”
He glanced at the other werewolf, his rugged features softening slightly and nodded to her in greeting. Then he took a running leap into the water, yelling something indescribable. His legs tucked up into his chest, arms wrapped tightly around his knees. Water sprayed the air in massive arcs through the air, the noise like a thunder-clap. Darius was large, well-built so the radius for the water reached almost over three metres. It was something that couldn’t be helped. But he made sure to land in a spot that wouldn’t unsettle his pack-mate. The water was cooling, refreshing. Arms swept the water, legs kicking in powerful, firm bursts. And as he did, he began to transform. His torso expanded, legs and arms lengthening. Muscles tripled in size and mass, a black furred tail erupting from the base of his spine. His spine began to elongate, ears shifting upwards to become pointed, wolf ears and the lower part of his face extended to form a muzzle. His skin melted into silky, jet black fur. When he emerged, head breaking the surface of the water he opened his jaws and let out a spine-tingling, passionate howl of joy. The head of a wolf had fully formed, fierce gold eyes staring out from a black-furred face with a muzzle full of razor sharp, bone-crunching teeth. It’d hurt but his wolf had wanted to come out. Fully changed with clawed feet treading water below he raised one trunk-like arm coming out of the water to start to swim towards the female. Once he neared her coming to a stop at her side, he stopped extending his hand out to her which was dripping wet. His lips, painted black against his muzzle, tugged upwards at the corners in an unashamed grin.Hey.
(occ: May I join? And it’s nice to meet you Arkati despite what I wrote up there :P. Edited)

| Darius, werewolves shift with their clothes still intact...Her nose twitched as a foreign smell wrapped and embraced her strong sense of smell within her nostrils. It smelt rotten, yet sweet, a feminine odor she assumed off the top of her head. Whilst floating there, she waved her hands in a slow, careful motion to appear oblivious to whom could be watching. She didn't want the creature to have knowledge of it's whereabouts and reasons why they were within her boundaries. The scent was more or less a bloodied aroma, and it certainly was not of life. It smelt dead, a carcass of an animal that was dried in the sun for far too long. Her eyes remained shut, the top layer of her skin sizzling in the sun's warmth as she could begin to even feel her human suit tan. The female's lips formed into a perfect answer, mouthing to the definition that only fit the things she could detect from such a distance. Vampire. They were the first monster to travel these lands before werewolves and humans claimed their lands before them. Her insides fumed and bubbled with a fiery blast of lava, the hatred growing and almost; almost sending her into a frenzy. Thankfully, she had the cold, reassuring water to cool her down long enough before her body could react by instinct.
Then suddenly a crack in the system began to glow and send hope to the resistance amongst the emptied beach. Tuning in, her hearing shifted towards the sand where the figure lay in waiting. They were not alone. Footsteps came pawing forwards from the tree-lined shadows, but she avoided to turn her head to look. Instead, Vitani casually floated herself over to hide a majority of her body behind a large white boulder jutting out of the water. Her heavenly figure leaned against it, rolling her eyes around to see the specks that formed to be two outlined bodies. The masculine body was not a vampire, for he was drenched in nothing more than her own scent of her pack. His features were god-like, and built for destruction, carved into every curve working down into his torso and so on. She couldn't help but stare a while before listening in on their conversation. Even his tone spoke intimidation, riddled with finesse and roguish rasps between words. Whomever this male could be, she was destined to know more of.
Her elbows stayed close to her body was the male began diving towards the water as if he were born to swim. His actions were flawless while cutting through the surface and up towards her. Vitani watched him do this until the time arrived where he finally met her area of comfort. She threatened to growl at him for getting too close, her eyes narrowing into a suspicious gaze before reminding her to loosen up and that he meant no disrespect. Being topless, the fact she kept her arms close abled her to keep herself covered, sort of. Her chest was hard to hide sometimes, especially now. Hey, such a simple response, said the obsidian brute. "Hello." She responded without by chance mentioning her name just yet till she knew of the vampire's actions towards shore. Her tone was smooth and struck with a reasonable irritation. It was only natural for her to feel this way whlie within a vampire's sights, let alone someone she had already met and barely knew. She didn't know whether to trust this werewolf aside her, but she couldn't help but at least try to. Choosing her own path, Vitani moved over and wrapped her arms around the man's neck, lightly allowing her body to press against his soaked fur beneath the water. She was very comfortable with her body, so no shame was ever given from the look on her face, "Having fun with vampy over there?" She joked, her sense of humor in sarcasm easy to detect. Knowing the male would probably ask for her name first, she tilted her head towards the beach and looked up into his eyes, "I'm Vitani by the way." |
