| The leaves of the trees breeze and crash through the wind. The quiet bear lays and listens to the forest. The birds are silent. There must be more predators near by. In his deepest thoughts, he hopes it is not a werewolf or other much larger mammal. His ears twitch and his nostrils flare. His haunches are raised, waiting for the attack. But nothing comes. The hunter does not relax his body. He must know what it is. Kenai slowly stands to his feet, slowly moving his head and scanning the grounds around him. His nose processes the scents and smells. Some of the scents are current, while others are slowly fading away through time. A couple scents seem to be both recent and old. There must be a pack near by. Shifters, of all different breeds and styles, mostly feline it seemed.
Kenai, now on his own once again, starts to head in the northern direction. A few more steps and the scents grew stronger; closer even. He didn't care. Not man nor beast could stop what he truly wanted. Near by he could hear water, fresh water. Kenai heads towards the water and quickly takes drinks from it. He licked the water rapidly with his tongue again and again until he got his fill. He licked his chops and lifted his head proudly. His eyes scanned the forest, but found nothing new. "If this was a packs' land, where was everyone?" he thought to himself.
Out of nowhere, something spiked his interest. His nose started to sniff around frivolously. He followed his nose until he found the perfect scent. Females. She-Shifters. Whatever you wanted to call it. They were here and there were a lot of them. He found a few traces of male scents, but that was not his concern. He'd fight a male any day, that did not bother him. He was curious of the area around him and why there was such a female dominated presence. His eyes mingled over the grasses and flowers. Spring was beautiful here, much like the other areas he had lived in his life.
Kenai continued walking until he remembered it is customary to alert the pack of his presence. Standing on two legs, the large bear shifted his weight and rolled his neck backwards. His bellow of a roar rippled through the sky, scaring the birds away and the small creatures which ran across the forest floor. When he finished his call, he looked forward and waited, bringing his weight to rest on all four paws once more. Here he would wait until he was greeted by a member of this pack.

| Making due, the tigress emerged groggily that morning and stretched as she thought of a schedule that would help sort her events of the day, commanding herself to remain collected with how her day would play out and working little heres and theres to fulfill all that was needed. Her sand-paper tongue cleansed her fur as she pivoted her hind legs in front of her and sat, lifting one of her legs up near to her shoulder and folding her stomach to lick against her dirtied areas. There was always some difficulty when cleaning herself so openly at her cave's mouth, as she was not aware of those living around her, nor the places within the darkened patterns of her stripes where it needed a good cleaning. She hated the feeling of not being cleaned, and often believed to think she had an over-obsessive mental disorder by how clean and organized she was with little things. Perhaps it was a phase, or maybe a trait she had always had, but not noticed till lately. She had been noticing a lot of things lately, actually, as her hormones were like a rollercoaster inside her, and often she'd find herself calling out her den for the desire of Diallo's appearance to pleasure her. Unfortunately, she knew the risks of having him so near, but her instincts convinced her to calm and flow with the idea enough for her to no longer remind herself of it. When she was finished with her bath, in a few minutes she had begun to tread through her lands and along the beaten path her shifters had created in time of their stay. She could identify all of them by their shape, the smaller feline ones being those of her Epror, while the swerved S's in the mud made her think of her dear friend, Calise. It was the much larger feline prints close to hers that made her know best, fitting her pads into the ones he made to only be slightly smaller, though just as perfect. As of late, Eden had been experiencing strange moods and had been eating excessive amounts than normal, but with the season being at it's peak, the leader did not realize what was completely going on.
It was then that her head lifted up at the smell of a foreign other, that is, until the large roar of a grizzly rang through her surroundings to which had broken her from her reverie of love and glance away from the tiger pawprints melted into the ground. She called back to him quickly with an obnoxiously beautiful growl in return, her feet moving in large pounding steps and progressing into a quick trot through the weeds until she duck low enough to peek between the grasses. Her eyes went slightly wide as she looked at the bear, tucking low and close to the ground while she admired his standing structure and fur color from a far. She had once met a bear a long time ago, one of which stole her virginity and claimed it selfishly as his own, only to leave her the next morning without a word. Eden did not know how to feel of this one entirely, but everyone was different, he deserved a chance. She couldn't be biased towards his type of shifter for just that. Quickly, she sprung over the tops of the weeds and landed in front of him with a large boom. This made her a bit dizzy for some reason, shaking her head and pinning her ears back before regaining her composure and shifting before the other. "Hello there, shifter." She said in a kind voice, holding her hips that had seemingly felt wider than they usually were, but not by much. Maybe with all the food she had been consuming was messing with her figure, maybe she needed a diet. The regina smiled and presented her hand slowly towards the land behind her, "Welcome to my territories, a home and haven for all those that are disguised by a human body and animal at heart. I am Eden, the Regina of these lands and those who are beneath my rank. What is your purpose here, dear?" Sweeping her blonde lochs over her shoulder, the tigress batted her light blue hues at him innocently and reached out her hand to shake his in greetings.

| It would not be long until he was greeted at the border by Eden herself. She was the Regina here, and he could smell it upon her pelt. She was very beautiful, like nothing he had ever seen before. He had mostly seen others of his own Ursine. Polar Bears, Panda Bears, and any other type of bear. Tigers, he had heard about from humans, were strange striped creatures, massive in their own way, but nowhere close to the stunning Grizzly with silver hues. When she pounced towards him, he stood on his full height on two legs. His eyes stared at her, interested by the way she changed so quickly. He had been too used to the fact of staying in one form for long periods of time. Shifting was easy, yes, but that didn't mean he wanted to do it right away, right before her now. He had been comfortable in his human skin for a while, but his coat was perfect for him, as it should be. However, he felt a little strange talking to her sexually appealing form before him. Slowly he shifted to his human form, standing only inches taller than her, it seemed. His silver eyes stared at her, noticing how beautiful her hair was, how it laid gently upon her perfect shoulders. Her breasts were perky and plump, perfect for any man's desires. Her body was thin and cut, it had seemed, tight and magical. It had been a long time since he had last seen a woman this beautiful ,though no human could compare to her divine beauty.
"I am Kenai, and I come from a long distance. I have been searching for a place to call my home. When I was young, my family was murdered before my eyes, taken from me and I was forced to learn from another bear. He taught me valuable life lessons and skills to keep locked in my mind. I know many fighting techniques and skills. I wish to serve you, Regina, to keep you safe around your lands. I have also lived among the humans and know a great deal of their military system. I lived as one of them for years, blending in and following direct orders. I abandoned them when my best human friend was killed by a Werewolf. Since then I have disliked their race and wish to preserve any shifters who are still alive and fighting to keep it that way. I can be of great assistance to you, if you will allow me shelter and a place to call my home." Kenai lowered himself to one knee, kneeling before the Regina. His head hung low, looking to the ground while his body hunched over. "I, Kenai Standing Bear Makwa, swear my life to you and your pack. I will give my life to keep you safe from harm or anything that wishes to harm a single fur on your coat. If you will accept me, I can teach you things I know and will aid the pack as well."

| The first thought that came to her mind when he shifted that he was handsome, nevertheless, that would not change her feelings for her mate whom was the father of her expected young. She smiled at him, though as he began to introduce herself, she allowed her eyes to wonder about his form. He was well-built, and seemed to have a reputation for keeping it like that, which she dully noted at the back of her mind. That meant he was responsibly, and perhaps a wise hunter, if not a strong fighter, she presumed since he was a grizzly, one of the most aggressive of their species. This she liked very much, as well as the fact her wish of a bear arriving soon at her borders had come true. She had the stars to thank, but that was meant for later, more personal times to herself. Now was time for business. As he spoke of his past and knelt before her, Eden held her tongue and tried to keep a straight, happy face - her sympathy exchanged with but of a single glance towards his silver hues and a gentle nod of her head. "I'm sorry for your loss, Kenai, but I must assure you that I understand your ill feelings towards other races. My father too was killed, though it was long before I ever got to meet him, and I have some humans to hold hatred against for that, while others I am thankful for. As for werewolves, it should be just the same for you, but I thank you sincerely for your honesty upon your behalf." She made a gentle gesture of placing her hand on his shoulder and attempting to manage a proud grin as she looked down into his eyes. "You're not alone, I swear to you that." Eden said kindly before taking a single step back to her place and straightened her thoughts.
As she contemplated some questioned she had running about her mind, she waved them off and decided to use the easier way, seeing that he was already polite and easy with his words and knew the ways of handing his trust. This was to be very valuable in one of her trusted Bellators, but she sought to see something out of him in the future. That she did not know, but only time would give them the change to bond a bit more, "I shall grant you what you seek to find in coming here, Kenai. This is my home for all shifters to come and join me. You will find shelter wherever you feel most at home amongst the territories that make up these regions and find a place of rest and joy with the relationships you will gain, along with my trust." She wished to know more about this bear and what all he could offer other than his abilities, perhaps a trusted family member close to her and Diallo, and potentially to her offspring. Pointing her finger, she walked back up to him and bowed her head slightly for her rank in respects to his own level, tapping both his shoulders slowly like a Queen would to announce a newly appointed knight. "I hear by claim you as one of my trusted Bellators, and hope you will do what is expected as well as fight for what you most truly believe in." She smirked, before reaching her hand down to help him up. She had a little time to spare, why not waste it and show the bear what she was really like? Eden did not claim herself to be the Regina, but a strong and friendly face to get to know about her peers and pack. She wanted them to look up to her, but look at her with a smile, like a friend would to support another. "I'm thinking of heading back to my cave and fixing up a fresh zebra leg. Ever had zebra before, kid?" She wondered, hooking her arm gently around his to keep her balance. As they had begun walking back together, the tigress glanced quietly up to the male and smiled very widely. "Say the word and I'll cook it. I'm in the mood to bake too. Got any ideas?"

| As he knelt before her, he waited for her replies to his words. But just like a Queen and a Knight, she tapped his shoulders and helped him rise. Bellator was his new rank. In this rank he would serve his "queen" well. There were many things he was curious with, but he knew that with time all questions would be answered. He smiled at the thought of finally finding the right people to call family, or even any to call friends. These Shifters would understand him and he would no longer have to hide behind the skin of a human or a bear. He would be able to move about them both freely. This comforted the bear, as he held a smile on his face. Taking her help, even though he did not require it, he pulled himself to stand. "I have not had Zebra, it sounds like a strange thing. I am more used to human things, berries, and nuts on the off chance I can rummage enough up." As he locked arms with the Regina, he smiled down to her. She was something of beauty, but he was a gentleman. "Heck, I could never turn down a home-cooked meal. One of my favorite deserts with the humans was cherry pie. I could eat ten whole pies, but I had to slim it down to just one, to show I was one of them. Do you know how hard that is? When your stomach is growling all crazy and your eyes are just staring at the pies, your nose taking in all the sweet scents, and your mind wanting you to scarf it down? I'm so glad I'm behind that life now.." he placed his hand on top of hers against his arm and looked down into her blue eyes. "Thank you, seriously." | |
