Walking down the simple city street she observed colors of the plainest pallor. The pavement itself remained but a dull gray, lines of even duller white vertically splitting it in half. Each building simply reflected the color beneath it, a dull and dreary scene as it was. Even the cars seem to soak in the lifelessness along with the people. It was no wonder she had not chosen these for her lands for it was just so boring. Silently shaking her head, Willow examined herself in the window of a random shop. Her petit frame was clothed in various shades or red, yellow, and orange. Blooms of each color were the print of her shirt, fluffed around her upper torso and carefully tucked into her shorts. The shorts themselves were a vibrant yellow. A bright sun in the world of gray. Lightly tanned sandals were strapped across her feet, protecting the tender flesh they held from the harsh sidewalk. Her hair, as always, was curled and swaying down her back with each step. As always, her arms were sleeved in tattoos of various meanings and symbols. The kohl around her eyes was dark, a stark contrast against here irises’ vibrant orange. To the world, she would be a broken goth wannabe who forgot rainbows weren’t in her wardrobe. It was something she took pride in, outsmarting people to assume what she was not. Even then a woman crowded her children away from her as if they could catch a deathly disease she did not have. And yet, it did not stop her from skipping down the street. She paused with a slight discomfort. Her tail pushed against her skin, wishing to be free to sway behind her as she made her way to her homelands. No longer skipping, she walked quickly and hurriedly until the city was completely out of sight. She saw the outlines of trees that symbolized her home and the skipping was back. Her ears and tail slipped from her skin and joined her happy mood, swaying or flicking along. Soon she was within a safety that wasn’t on maps, for her kind only. If anyone else were to ask it was a wildlife reserve and nothing more. They wouldn’t know of the small but beautiful town she found herself walking into. Honey-colored cottages all neat in rows, holding people she had yet to meet. Willow weaved through streets until she was in the village square, waiting quietly for others to arrive.

A fluttering in her chest was followed by the nervous butterflies within her stomach. She had been working and planning this since the early morning, hoping it was enough the entire time. Before her was a feast, all the food she could possibly make at once. Rows of various meats, pastries, pastas, whatever she could think of was there. Of course there were her fish sticks, but she had no idea what her people liked. If she had, it would have looked more like the average family cookout. She had kept track of joining members through Connor, found where they lived, and placed and invitation on their doorsteps when she was sure everyone was asleep. Now it was the afternoon and her feast was ready, along with the little stage she had set up for herself. Public speaking was not one of her strong suits, but she was delighted to meet them all just the same. Lifting the bag she had brought from the city, she placed the beverages she bought on the last table. Willow slapped her hands together to be rid of imaginary dust and smiled to herself as she paced the small strip of grass in nervous tension. Already the greenery was showing signs of abuse from her manic walking. Shaking all her jitters out, she sat on the edge of the stage and quietly waited. Her feet swung of their own playful accord and reminded her of children skipping and singing nursery rhymes. Human children, not mora children. She could not just give a big, bright smile like she did with the humans. It was time. Her words were prepared and she was as ready as she could ever be.

A faint orange book with aged pages sat between his fingers, his eyes enchanted by the writing style along with the story behind it. Tail swaying back and forth towards the floor, the neko leaned casually back in his chair while the rest of the world wasn't apparent anymore. On occasions, he'd look up at the sound of a couple 'shushings' towards those who were making a bit of noise, glancing to the librarian that managed her station behind the large desk. She would look at him with a small smile and he'd politely nod his chin before they'd turn their heads away. Printed on the front of the book were wiry letters to form the title The Catcher in the Rye. It was one of his favorites, and he found himself coming here almost once or twice a week just to read it in his same chair. Every so often he'd check out a couple books he preferred to read elsewhere, but lately, he hasn't with the borders he has had to keep him occupied. As he took on the normal, casual outfit, Connor styled himself in a clean white button up that was tucked into a pair of khaki shorts, looped with a light brown belt that had some extra slack to hang off the side of his body. Around his neck was a thin, dark orange tie that stretched towards the mid of his stomach, along with a beanie holding over his hair and normal light grey converse shoes. It was the perfect outfit he found the most comfort it, yet appeared slightly professional. Perhaps almost as if he were a hipster-like techy geek, but he really wasn't any of that, he thought. He didn't know what he was, and almost liked that about himself. Then it made him wonder if that was what his Queen liked about him, or saw in him enough to be her third in command. Whatever it was, it bugged him to know. The tom enjoyed making her smile, to hear her laugh created by him of some oddly boring joke in the attempt to seem less awkward around her than he knew he was. He wanted to know.

Buried into his book, Connor caught the slightest glance of red, orange and yellow, quickly looking up in curiosity and fear of it being a neighboring fire. Instead, it was a beautiful brunette, slimmed with those mix of colors and inked with many designs, walking by to where he knew not. "Willow?.." He started to lean further back in his chair to see her through the library window start to stroll away from his field of vision. His eyes went wide as the wood of his seat started to squeak and the rest of his body went backwards, flipping the piece of furniture completely and making a loud smack onto the ground, as well as some quiet yelling before he hit rock bottom. Now eyes were on him. "Ow.." He rubbed his forehead and slowly helped himself up, not noticing everyone else around him as he pressed his hands against the glass along with his cheek to see outside to where she was going. Town square. Struggling to his feet, Connor caught a look from the librarian and he sent her an apologetic stare before whispering a sorry to the rest. Before he could do anything, he quickly put back his book and made a B-line towards the doors, hopping over tables that were taken by other people and quietly making a break for it out into the open, summer air. He took a large breath and looked to see the end of her tail disappear around a corner. The Noble tom knew where she was headed now, but he had to be sneaky. As he walked down the street apart from where she turned, Connor moved towards a small flower stand accompanied by an older kitsune that didn't have much place amongst the village anymore. He smiled and tipped his hat towards the tom's rank and he grinned happily in return. "One rose please.", he requested. The man laughed and handed him the many petaled, dark red flower that was attached with newly wrapped plastic and an orange bow. His insides shivered with joy as he saw it and paid the man, wishing him a thank you and a great day before dashing off after the Queen's footsteps. He turned the corner to see she was preparing for something. Fortunately, he already knew, but he was partially surprised as to why she was holding it so early after returning to her throne. He smiled up at her, but her eyes were closed. The neko could sense that she was nervous, but hopefully, once he was seen with the rose quietly in hand and a boyish grin upon his face, that she would be okay again.

"Hello, my Queen."

Lazily Finnlay rolled over in his resting position underneath the clean, warm sheets upon his soft mattress. Unfortunately he moved over too far and went tumbling out of his bed while still encased within his cozy cocoon, landing with a loud thump in the fluffy carpet below. His fall had been quick but the distance was minor and so he didn't really feel the impact, remaining still as he was on the floor, not opening his eyes but just snorting quietly and soon beginning to slip back into a deep slumber. The maston's dreams varied greatly, from something fantastically odd and wonderful to glimpses of everyday occurrences, such as his insatiable appetite for hot cocoa, and even the darkest of nightmares. For one so cheerful as Finnlay it seemed completely antithetical to have any disturbing thoughts but, much like the man himself, imagination does not discriminate. Within the mind anything is possible. It was just as he began to slip back into the realm of his subconscious that he jolted awake and scrabbled within the covers until eventually being able to sit himself up. Today was the day the queen had requested her citizens to gather together. Parties, events, gatherings, all were enjoyed by Finnlay, especially when they involved food. This was also evidently proven by the lingering aroma of whisky on his breath; he had been drinking rather heavily in bars and clubs the night before. The inu male was unsure as to the purpose for the queen's invitation but he figured she either had an announcement to make or she just simply wished to formally introduce herself and bring the community closer together. Whatever the reason, Finnlay was more than willing to show his face, even if he was quite sorely hungover. Much like a child being forced to wake up on time for school he growled a disapproving groan and rubbed his sleepy eyes with his fists. Slowly he stood on the soles of his bare feet and shook off the bed linen, squinting his eyes as they flickered open. The light was harsh on his alcohol-stricken eyes as he attempted to shield them with his hands. Another louder groan sounded from his throat. Indeed hangovers were not pleasant, but it all seemed worth it for the fun that could be had that night before.

It didn't take long for Finn to be ready to go. In less than twenty minutes he had brushed his teeth, showered, pulled on any random clothes to wear and then soaked himself with masculine perfumes to hide any last scent that remained of the previous twelves hours. With his throbbing headache and everything else that was making him feel under the weather it was clear the mutt did not care about his appearance today. He just wanted some food and anything else he could get to make him feel just a little better. And so it was no surprise that he quite literally looked like a dog: his black jeans and white shirt not buttoned up properly, the shirt being partially tucked into his jeans and sort of hanging loose, the laces on his shoes somewhat dragging on the pavement, his hat tilted oddly atop his head. And then had  a pair of shades over his to protect his sensitive eyes form the light. Repeatedly as he walked he rubbed his face tiredly and stumbled slightly a few times, but eventually he reached the destination in the town where tables of food were laid out and a stage stood up front. He moved his way inspecting the refreshments on offer before standing towards the front where he spotted the queen and an unknown man. Quickly he made an effort to smarten his appearance, tucking his shirt in properly and straightening his hat. With a slight smile he looked to the two."Hello Willow, hi Sir" he said with a nod of his head to the lady first followed by the male. Then he stood quietly and expectantly, not acknowledging anyone else as he did still feel like crap. Only the noises of complaint by his stomach broke his silence.

The tepid air made for a sheet-less night. The only piece of material on Evan's body were boxer shorts as he had stripped off his t-shirt and chucked it onto the floor. The long, dreary night involved a lot of tossing and turning as the warmer spring temperatures had began to settle in. During the day, this change was gladly welcomed. As night approached and sleep was badly needed, it only caused problems. Luckily Evan had opened a window to allow a cool draught to flow through the room. There was no second thought about this action being risky as the neighbourhood was safe and relaxed. Upon the Maston's awakening, there was an invitation waiting on his doorstep that had been written by Queen Willow herself. The opportunity to finally meet the ruler of the Mora excited Evan, making him want to make a great first impression to the Queen. Also the chance for the bubbly kitsune to meet his fellow townspeople was favoured as he craves interaction with others. The young man hopped in the shower before getting ready and dressed. Today was important so he took his time to look particularly good. His hair was styled to perfection, not a single wispy strand. His sturdy body was clothed in pale blue denim shorts and a navy and white polka dot short sleeve shirt; pecs outlined by the fitted shirt and bulging biceps visible to the world. All ready to go, the Maston went on his way to the town square. He had headed this way many a time so there was no issue in finding where the Queen was likely waiting for him and his kind. Throughout the whole way there, Evan whistled happily as he was looking forward to what was awaiting him. His pace quickened once he was just around the corner. And there it all was. A grand feast, a stage and a lone couple. One of which he recognised and the other he could only guess was Queen Willow. Without really thinking, Evan patted his shirt flat against his chest before approaching the two nekos. He stood a few steps away from the Noble and glanced at the petite woman positioned at the edge of the stage. The kitsune cleared his throat before speaking. "Greetings Noble Connor and Queen Willow. It is great to see you both." His tone was gentle in attempt to calm the nervous looking woman along with a warm smile. He didn't want to interrupt anything between the Queen and her Noble so he thought of a way to give them some space. "May I take a seat, Your Highness?"

PostSubject: Re: When We Stand Together (Mora)   When We Stand Together (Mora) Icon_minitimeMon Jun 16, 2014 7:51 pm

The speech wove its way through her mind like a child’s basket. Every word and syllable sounded through her along with a giggle as the butterflies roared a beating of wings inside her chest. Willow placed a hand over her stomach and took a deep, mind-clearing breath before opening her eyes. Never had the Queen ever imagined that when her eyes were to open, she’d find a pair looking back. But she did, an lovely olive green that was immediately familiar. A particular warmth found itself in her chest whenever her Noble was around, and today would be no different. Willow’s cheeks flushed a pinkish hue as she smiled and took the offered rose. It matched almost perfectly with the red in her outfit, and she lifted the delicate mass of petals to her nose for a moment. A soft, feminine smell touched her nose that made her think of walking through her own peaceful garden. Her pumpkin eyes left the rose and went to the man, dashingly handsome and boyishly grinning as he was. Never could Willow recall in her life a moment where she wished to hug someone as much as she did right then, and she did just that. Placing the rose down gently and, taking a step towards him, hugged him gently and quickly. Had she not been expecting others she would have wrapped her arms around him tightly and let the warmth she felt for him show for a few brief moments. She whispered a small “thank you” to Connor and released him with a flush of embarrassment. Her heart fluttered girlishly and a small smile graced her rosy lips as she gazed at the Noble. Pervious nerves of her upcoming speech had long ran, leaving her with the bubble of peace and relaxation that came with his presence. Somehow he found a way to settle her, whether it be his intentions or not. Their friendship was something she held dear to cherish and watch grow into something though she knew not what. With a new bout of strength she turned to face her people, only to be met with silence.

Two individuals, she wasn't sure of their names, had chosen to join her. Connor was always there, so much to the point that she didn’t count him among the masses. To her there were only, devastatingly, two there. Was this all? All she had built and created on hope, simp lying wishing it to grow and for Mora to find sanctuary only to find that really no one had? The town of devastation opened it’s gates within her chest as the residents took their places and relaxed among the mass of hurt she felt. Even worse was that, after all this time, she had failed Grey without even knowing until that moment. Willow braced her hand against a chair and sat with a soft thud as her head hung in disappointment. Maybe they’d heard their true leader had died, maybe the didn’t want to be ruled by her specifically. What felt so nerve-racking and lightening now felt like an elephant was sitting on her hopes and dreams without any intention to move. The greetings met her ears but were muffled and faded as the Queen shuddered once and put on a smile. Standing, she said, “Greetings to the both of you, I am so very glad to see you. A speech was prepared but I’m afraid I will not be giving that now. Though there is one matter to celebrate. Congratulate our Noble, Connor, for getting the promotion of Brigadier and my right hand. He deserves it for his services to our kind.” Glancing at Connor, she gave a little smile to him and went on about her speaking. “Please, sit and enjoy the food. Take as much as you wish, welcome to the Mora.” Her palms felt clammy, damp against her skin as she kept a pleasant face. Once she knew they’d gone she returned to her sitting position and placed her head in her hands. Violently her fingers raked through her hair, catching knots and snares with a wincing pain that went ignored. The dull titian hues closed and left the onyx kohl surrounding them to stand out with a sharp contrast against her fair skin. Willow’s hair had long since tumbled over her shoulders and hid her face partially from the world. Tears leaked from their ducts as the Queen began to cry.

Connor remained vigilant on the sidelines as the two presented themselves and praised the Queen's presence, as well as his own. He had taken note of their identities long before the meeting was gathered, noticing Evan, a Maston, he, himself had accepted one evening as well amongst the two others. He held no surprise when counting only two of the Mora to arrive, as most of their numbers had deceased over some time and failed to be loyal to his Queen's rule. He didn't know whether or not it was a a good thing that the left, but after a while he had convinced himself it was better off without them if they were to be helpless. Rose in hand, he eventually caught Willow's gaze in return to his own, a large smile fixing upon his cheeks and causing his right dimple to dent the side of his face. He hugged her tightly, minding the rest and allowing himself to squeeze his broad arms around her, as it had been a couple months since their last adventure, "Beautiful as ever, your Majesty." The Noble said quietly as he lifted her slightly off the ground and spun her within his arms, gently putting her back down with a charming smile. He nodded once to her gratitude and stifled a single laugh from reaching the air around them, awkwardly ruffling the hair at the back of his head with one hand before he stepped aside to collect himself. As Willow began to speak amongst the small pool of males, Connor stayed standing at her side, which had found the time to slowly comfort herself in a chair. His brows narrowed at the somber, almost disappointed tone in her voice as she spoke, being probably the first, and only one around to notice it the quickest. At times like this, he hadn't known what to do, or what to say, but a slight surprise returned the color in his face as she granted a promotion - his rank. Of course he had done lots of work around the kingdom as a Noble and accepting all that he could in time, but he hadn't at all thought about it up until when she said it. He was having too much fun with the Queen to care where he was placed, he just wanted to be with her. "It'd be an honor, my Queen, to be your Brigadier for as long as I live and protect our kind," He lied through a golden smile, as it was really that he wanted to be hers for as long as he lived, not just her right hand.

When everyone was seated, Connor couldn't find the will to sit just yet, there was still that concern he found by looking at his deeply upset leader. Then he saw tears, the tips of her make-up becoming blurred with the liquid which fell over the curves of her cheeks. Looking towards the rest, he knelt down beside her chair and tries looking through her hair to find her eyes, "Willow.." His tone was quiet and filled with worry as he talked with her, holding her hands with one of his and using his freehand to curl her long hair over her ear. He looked up into her eyes and tried to get her to smile, all the while wiping her tears from her face with his thumb as his palm caressed against her soft cheek. The dark olive color of his eyes were glossed with a light layer of a potential tear as he watched her cry, as something about it made him feel the same. This was not the time to do any of that, especially when they were right in front of the Maston's and were the two main superiors of the kingdom. They had a reputation to keep, and didn't want to appear weak before them. It could only make things worse for them, he thought. He didn't know how to keep her from crying, "Please, tell me what's wrong?.." Connor asked, gazing up at her in slight confusion, "-We should talk about this in private instead while the two dine by themselves. They can get to know each other while we speak.. Come'on." With that, he glanced to the two to allow them some space before the Brigadier stood up with Willow's hand in his, leading her away from the table and towards the opposing side of the stage where they could not be overheard. As his first duty of being her right-hand, he had to make his Queen presentable again. She couldn't let these small battles get to her while he just stood around, and this point, Connor didn't know where they stood in their more personal relations. His palms rested against the wooden stage on either sides of her face while his body stood in front of hers. Their faces being only inches apart somehow made the air a little tight. He watched her cry and slowly dried her tears with his hand again. "I will do whatever it takes for you to stop crying, Willow.. I mean it.." Without thinking, he tilted her head back in his hands and looked at her sincerely, internally speaking her, pleading for her with his eyes for her to stop before he brought her face closer. He kissed her, pressing his lips firmly against hers and closing his eyes as his nose felt the dampness against her cheek. It was his first, and he saved it in his dreams for it to only be for her, if the time came. A rosey pink flushed to his face as he leaned his mouth away from hers, rolling a long awaited sigh off his tongue until his eyes widened into her harvest hues, "Not exactly what I was expecting for our first between us.." Connor said as a small joke, trying to lighten the mood and decrease the amount of awkwardness he created.

When We Stand Together (Mora) Empty
PostSubject: Re: When We Stand Together (Mora)   When We Stand Together (Mora) Icon_minitimeTue Jun 24, 2014 4:55 am

It sank like a rock tied to a body in a lake, her failure. Or what she thought was failure; Later on she wouldn’t be positively sure. She simply knew that it hurt as if Grey were looking down on her himself and shaking his head in disappointment. The tears that leaked from their ducts came across as black streaks on her hands. Fully aware her makeup was running and she had no way to clean herself up only made her cry harder. How ridiculous, she thought. What a leader I have become, only to have two members. In her mind it came out like a sarcastic snort, though never before had she been cruel to herself. Other people had done the cruelty, and she found that it hurt less when others brought it upon her. She couldn’t escape herself as much as she wanted to. Stop that, she told herself. Get up, excuse yourself from this gathering and go pull yourself together. Instead she sat there still until one of her hands was removed from her face, held in a soft hand. Her harvest hues found themselves staring into a pair of olive green, lovely and familiar as they were. Though she wasn't an artist she could’ve drawn those eyes in every detail for she had found herself daydreaming about them far to often to not be able to. Whatever her newfound Brigadier had said went like a blur in her mind; She simply clung to those eyes. She was aware of him wiping her eyes and caressing her cheek, even pushing her hair back. Such a sweet gesture that she knew it couldn’t possibly of been anyone but him. In any other circumstance it would’ve made her smile and hug him again as she had only just a little bit ago. Willow was suddenly aware that she was standing up and moving, but she wasn’t sure to where exactly. The eyes were gone from her and she almost whimpered before they were returned to her. Her back touched a wall and she was slowly becoming aware of Connor and what he was saying. His face was close enough to hers they could’ve breathed the same air, and she would have enjoyed it. With the pressure of his fingers, her chin came up and she saw his pleading stare then. It would have choked her to see such a thing in his eyes; She felt so guilty to see such a look. Her mind went blank as she became aware of what he was going to do, her face becoming closer and closer until their lips touched. Every wall came crashing down then, finally she could hear and feel the light that broke her from her sadness.

For her, the kiss had ended far too early and yet she still found herself with her back against the wall with surprise. Willow’s eyes were wide as she stared at Connor for a few moments. She heard his words with perfect and yet she did not answer. Instead she placed a caressing hand on his cheek and kissed him again. Her arms came around his neck to cross at the wrists, pressing her lips against his with a soft touch; Like a fluttering of butterfly wings against their lips. For both it would be their second kiss, and she drew it out slightly longer than the one before. Her heart kicked up its beat in her chest as her stomach flipped in the caverns of her flesh, excited and nervous and so many other emotions coursing through her.  When she pulled back she was blushing from embarrassment, her cheeks just as red as his had been before. Willow placed her hands behind her back as she looked down bashfully, only glancing up at him every once in a while. She was no longer crying but was sure she still looked like a mess, her makeup smeared into raccoon eyes. “I suppose not everything happens as you imagine it, now does it?” Her voice was light and almost playful, having that girlishness as she felt giddy about having her first kiss. Ever so slightly her bottom lip came between her teeth as she bit it nervously, her hands twisting as one held the other. Willow almost expected herself to run home giggling like a little girl to draw hearts in her notebooks and whatnot. How a mood so dark could become so blindingly bright she had no clue, though she knew she was looking at him and giving a slight smile. All remnants of thought and failure were gone in that moment for, like always, Connor had helped her once again. She would just have to come back stronger, get more word around that there was a safe haven for her kind. Hopefully it would work. A game plan formed in her mind but she couldn’t act on it then. Not with herself against the wall and entranced by the neko keeping her there. Quietly she rose on her toes and gave him a small peck upon his lips, happy to finally be his despite her other emotions. “Thank you”, she whispered softly. “Thank you for everything.”

PostSubject: Re: When We Stand Together (Mora)   When We Stand Together (Mora) Icon_minitimeWed Jun 25, 2014 11:24 am

After the second kiss, it was confirmed. Fireworks of all colors and sounds raged through his mind in that moment as the softness of her lips placed upon his by her own doing. He didn't know where to put his hands other than the one to remain on her cheek and the other to slide along the side of her frame until it met the boney hip of hers. He pinched it lightly, thinking that was what he was supposed to do, and continued to kiss her as long as she wanted until she pulled away. When she did, Connor's eyes slowly opened, and without control, his smile widened to it's biggest yet. He found himself helplessly staring at the girl in front of him. Even with her make-up drained along her face, her hair a slight mess from the worrying and her cheeks as bright as a red-rose, she still remained beautiful to his eyes. His hand which was placed originally at her hip, swung around to her back and pulled her close against his build. He couldn't help the urge to nuzzle into her neck and free his tail so it would try to catch her's in a knotted mess of twirled tails. "I guess not..," He responded, purring into the dip of her neck nearest to where her collarbones rested beneath her milky skin. A smile wedged to his lips as she gave him a small, quick kiss, which he tried to return, but was too late to try, and faintly heard her words of gratitude. "You don't need to thank me, Willow.." There wasn't much he could say other than to embrace his arms around her as tight as he possibly could without taking the air out of her, and squeezing her sides as he buried his face even more. Some of her make-up seemed to rub onto his forehead, which he rubbed eventually away and smiled before digging into his pocket for a little pack of tissues. Throughout his life, his 'foster parent', Mrs. James, would always teach his none-blood brothers to always carry such things, as someday it would be important. She was most likely dead now since she never had the immortality he was given after the cages, but she was more than right with this one. "Hold still." He whispered and dampened her cheeks before applying the tissue to the residue which stained around her eyes. Connor was careful and patient, keeping watch as to where he placed the material against her skin and in no time, he managed to fix her make-up a bit. It was enough to get by one without someone noticing if she were crying or not, which convinced him enough to stop.

He gave her the tissues and dug into his other pocket for his phone, handing it to her in case she wanted to fix anything else with the help of the reflection camera app. She probably had her own little mirror or something with her, he thought, but his kind gesture was enough, too. Once she was done, he kissed her cheek and took the things he gave her back, unless she needed it for something else, then he'd wait. He looked at the time and wondered if the Maston's were getting to know each other. It had been a while since they left, which worried him a bit, asides from the leftover joy that love seem to seep into his mind. He took her hand and smiled to her, hoping it was alright now since they kissed. Connor gripped it firmly, weaving his fingers gently through hers and stroking her thumb which wedged underneath his. They walked back to the table, hand in hand, as well as his attempted tail still trying to latch her's, which was failing miserably by his own excitement. It flicked wildly without his intention, this only making it harder for the Brigadier to contain himself. He looked to Evan and Finnlay with a low gaze and dip of his head, letting go of the Queen's hand so she could sit back in her chair towards the end of the tail, "I apologize for the wait. There were things in need of some change, but are all over now." As he spoke, he looked to everyone with a charmed smile, all the while pouring himself a glass of lemonade. Ears tucked against his head and tail finally at bay against his leg, he cleared his throat and continued, "It has been a pleasure to be such an important part of this species.. I've learned a lot, experienced many fears, and-" he looked to Willow out of the corner of his eye, "I met a lot of people that changed my life before I came here. May it be life that brings us joy and happiness from here on out with the ones we care for and choose to protect. We may be tiny, but we are mighty as the soldiers of our past. The troubles we went through are what define us, and may we always.. always stand by our tailed-brothern's side in the case trouble arises." He said loudly, raising his drink towards the middle of the seating, "To the Mora."
