| It was time; the Queen felt it in her bones. She felt it in the way the destruction had grown and grown until it exploded around her, leaving her loved ones in the peaceful eye of the storm. She’d built this place the love of her heart and could nearly burst into tears of how beautiful a scene her love had produced. It was a lovely place to call home now without a threat in sight. During her time she had watched animals flourish, people find love, and had managed to do so herself. She’d married and had given birth to a beautiful baby girl whom was successfully attending college across the world. Willow was so proud and felt so much love that she saw things in a whole new clarity. It was that morning that she came upon these revelations, curled against the warmth of her beloved. She sat up quickly, the mass of her hair flopping every which way in their happy little waves. Willow quickly blew some from her mouth and rubbed her eyes to prepare for the morning. The queen smiled and turned sleepily to the man asleep beside her before leaning in and nuzzling up to him. “Wake up honey.. It’s coronation day!” she exclaimed. Her hands gave a light wake-up pinch to his rear before she climbed over him and happily skipped into the bathroom. Willow’s head dipped low as she turned on the sink and let water pool into her hands before splashing it onto her porcelain skin. Instantly her senses were awake and cleansed for the day while the rest of her was light and airy from the amount of success she felt.
The queen walked back into the room and slipped out of her pajamas and refreshed her underclothes, slipping on a pretty yellow sundress and brushing out her hair. She quickly braided pieces on each side and wrapped them around her head before she pinned them in the back. Willow admired her worked and gazed at herself in the mirror. There were slight differences indicating age upon her face, but they were only visible when one looked close enough. The mora smiled and left the room altogether as she put on her sandals and waited for Connor to join her. Willow had named her successor years back and had groomed her in everything she was to do. The queen was very assured that Haedyn could handle the duties of a queen and have fun doing so as well. She was so excited to see the look on her adopted sister’s face when she found out because Willow had neglected to tell how exactly whom she had picked next in line. Willow taught Haedyn all she knew through small ways and jobs in promise of a ranking promotion, but Willow had withheld just how much of a promotion she would get. The queen giggled as she imagined the shock on the lovely alchemist’s face whilst placing a sweater on her dainty shoulders. In the royal status, she was stepping down and moving beyond the world she created. She and her beloved found a lovely little paradise to call home on their own across the world. They could join their daughter and be a happy family for the rest of their days. Everyone knew that Willow was stepping down; she’d made it quite known over the years. She was unsure of exactly how everyone felt upon the matter, but she was sure everyone was eager to see just who would be crowned. When Connor arrived she was ready to go, placing a kiss on his cheek before she stepped from the door.
The walk was as slow as she wished for it to be, her eyes committing every detail of the place to her memory. For so long this had been home. but she and Connor agreed that they weren’t cut out for the ruling life. Willow was too gentle now; a leader was what her race needed now. Haedyn was outspoken, courageous, and kind with enough edge to not be pushed over with simple matters of the heart. These things had been Willow’s downfall though she hadn’t needed them to build a home. Such traits would be needed now if anyone were to take the mora seriously. Willow smiled as she knew that she would be leaving the world she built in wild but great hands. As they made their way to the center of town, Willow looped her arm through Connor’s and clenched her jaw as if not to cry. They would be doing this beside the true leader’s grave; surely he would approve. What had shocked Willow was how much like Grey Haedyn really was in both personality and looks. Willow felt that this would have been coming from the minute she laid eyes upon the inu woman. The queen’s job was done and done well, but now it was time to go. Tears leaked from her eyes only to be quickly brushed away as she watched individuals begin to show before her. She’d previously sent out letters for the coronation so everyone would know the date. When Haedyn arrived, Willow beckoned her over before she waited for the rest to assemble.

| The king woke to a beautiful start to be found staring briefly between sleepy blinks the love of his life and complete world to whom has made him discover new things about himself in the littlest of dark corners. He displayed no negative connotation to the playfulness in her wake, and heavenly grinned before maneuvering most of his weight forwards across bed so he could kiss her a good morning. At her joyful words, the reminder that they stay was now ending came flooding back, and he was at the fight of words, though could only muster an understanding sigh. He was to a majority thrilled with what had become of them during such a time, fulfilling each other's love with that of a child and togetherness, as well as making the kingdom at its strongest, only for them to find that mortal sensitivity the two once had so very long ago cause them to depart, as happiness has reached them now. "This day will never be forgotten, my love." He murmured, trapping his large arms around her and nuzzling with a gentle purr into her neck before she slowly fled to prepare about their room. Connor made no effort to be quick with getting ready, he wished to soak it all in and whatnot before the door shut behind them. Perhaps they'd return again in some time, but he never saw it as something to get his hopes up over - there was more to look for out there, somewhere else for them. Now it awaited, and he was optimistic about the idea to experiencing such a new place with the one person he'd want to be with. He fixed the bed and opened the curtains with a smile, basking in the shining light as best he could before he finally reached the level of awakeness he needed in order to finally dress his form with material. Swaying into a pair of jeans and a clean button down shirt, he fitted a slick, light grey vest and a soft orange tie around his neck to hide behind the vest for the most part. Inching behind Willow, he kissed the back of her head and roughed at the cowlick to his hair that he received over a restless night's sleep. When finished, the neko ensured that their luggage were packed and ready to be sent with them by the guards, looking over emails on his phone whilst his beloved finished her hair, all the while making small, measly little glances in her direction for him to feel a boost of confidence and great joy. The horses were prepped and packed in their accommodating trailers they had managed to find the money for throughout their marriage before their beautiful daughter was born. A happy sigh, small and quiet, whispered from his lips as he went down the stairs and followed her to the door, taking her hand gently before she wedged it slowly around his bicep. "May this be a final good bye to the past and a welcoming hello to the future.... our future." The king said to his queen, eyes of an adoring olive shade as he looked down at her.
As they stepped out into the morning light, a new dawn awaited them over the curve of the horizon, beckoning the pair closer, but the royal couple was too strong to be summoned just yet. The coronation was about to begin. The village was decorated accordingly, and already he eyed the faces of many he had come to know starting to open their doors and wave to their queen and king with praise as they walked by ahead of the crowd that would soon then follow. Connor tried his best to keep his chin high, despite the sadness that pinched his sides that today they'd be leaving and probably to never return. But today was a new life for the Mora they had loved and cherished He squeezed her hand a bit tighter than he hoped as memories pooled into his brain, looking around every corner to be marked with a time he had walked or ridden Temptress past. He was at a relief when Willow seemed to have witnessed the same surfacing feelings, keeping her close and kissing her cheek to at least cheer her a tad up before the others would arrive. Searching the Mora, he found Haedyn amongst them, and watched as his beloved summoned her over with a silent gesture and the fixture of glances. He smiled to Willow and then to her sibling-figure who was to be the replacement of the royal throne. But his eyes searched passed the nearing woman's shoulder to find his brother at bay somewhere hopefully near, for there would be something for him soon, perhaps more others would achieve a rank. But that lay a mystery, Connor left every think upon the ranking system to Willow, with the exception of his brother to take his place somewhere close to the throne to keep the new Queen safe. The rest was her choice to make, whom he trusted and highly respected despite their equality in position still. The king leaned over and whispered, brushing his lips just slight of his love's ear as a grin spread across his cheeks, "I love you, my lady dearest.. Do not fret and have faith. The new life awaits us, and she will keep your kingdom sound." He knew that Willow was very trusting of her younger sister, perhaps more so than him, which he didn't seem to mind, but as her husband, he did his best to assure her no matter the costs. Tightening his grip around her hand, but gently as it may, he smiled and leaned back into his standing position. A strong king will serve his beautiful queen till he breathes his last breath.

| It had been well known within the lands that if Willow was to step down, she would have a replacement. It was to be Haedyn, the young and wild girl in their pack. She felt that in the twenty five years of training and growing, that things would be much better for everyone with a fresh face leading them. The Inu recalled the day when she received the letter in the mail. She opened it careful, not wishing to rip or tear into it. The letter spoke of all the Mora needing to be present on this day, mandatory to continue their days in the land. She prepared herself for such a task. She smiled to herself as she thought of the last few years. She had helped the King and Queen with the care of their daughter. She taught her many things and helped keep her well mannered, though it was not that much of a task for her parents were damn near perfect. The day of the coronation, Jenna was quick to make herself ready. She dressed in a casual attire. She wore some jeans which hugged her sides and a cute little plaid button down. She adjusted the shirt to sit perfectly about her chest, not bunching too much or showing too much skin. Her bi-colored eyes stared into the mirror as she fixed her top. Her tail wagged gently behind her form as she did so. It reminded her of the last two decades that she had changed so much. When she was growing up, she lived most of her life in her primal form, but here, they focused more so on the human attributes. It was a rough transition for her, but she finally got the hang of it all. Still preppy and happy as ever, she held her Husky charms. It was hard not to love such a doll. Hugs for everyone she met! The young female was finally ready to head for the meeting point. As she was ready, she walked out her door and headed for the area. She shifted into her canine form, racing to the spot. When she arrived, she quickly changed into her human shell and fixed her clothes just once more. She saw the trailers and knew the pair would be leaving soon. A deep sadness fell over her heart when she knew they would be leaving. She stood to the side lines for now, waiting to see what changes would happen in their lives. But even through the emotions that flowed here and now, she was smiling. | |

| “Well Haedyn.. I think your eyebrows are reasonably on point,” she said to herself in approval. The hairy beasts in question were wiggling like at caterpillar on her forehead for her own amusement. Dark, damp tendrils that symbolized her hair hung around as she let herself be embraced by the post-shower steam. A fluffy pink towel hugged her chest with the end tucked into her armpit to hold it over her body. She’d plucked and pulled at the hairy bushed above her eyes until they were whipped back into their angular cage. Haedyn’s hand worked her last bit of lotion into her arm before she left her bathroom entirely, the steam making her dizzy and dying to breathe some fresh air. As if the day weren’t dizzy enough, that just topped her perfectly layered Haedyn cake. Oooohhh.. She wanted cake. Suddenly cake was reminding her of Willow and her face was falling because today was the day. Haedyn was tempted to ditch the coronation just to show her rebellion of the queen leaving, but she had made a promise to go. The inu didn’t want to know who would replace family such as that, but they would never amount to what one tiny doll of a girl had done over a series of years. With a shuddering sigh, Haedyn put on her dress before she moved to blow dry her hair. It took a while to master and tame her work of art, but eventually the bouncing ways shimmered like gold in the sunlight. Her makeup was their usual dark to bring out her eyes, but she took more cautious care on that day. Instead of their red painting, Haedyn left her lips alone except for the application of lip balm. For a while she had eyed her arm-warmers and considered placing them on, but she wanted to look at least a little bit acceptable for the promotion she had been groomed for. Quietly she wondered not of an heir, but of her own ranking to be. Brigadier possibly, Noble probably, but she would happily settle for either one. Today was about a woman she had come to call her sister finding a paradise well deserved, and she just hoped to get in the biggest hug of her life before they left.
When she arrived, Haedyn found not so many people assembled. She checked her phone and found that she was uncharacteristically early for being the queen of fashionably late. It was all too easy to spot Willow and walk over to her as quickly as possible until she could embrace her queen in a hug. The feel of another person had never felt so comforting as it was then, and for the first time in a while Haedyn almost began to cry. Her hazel hues drifted to the gravestone; of course Willow would choose to do this there. Haedyn’s eyes shut tight before she could read the name, but instead released Willow to give Connor a brief hug and stand before them. She wiped a bit of moisture from her eyes and sniffled for a moment until she gained her composure, looking between the two.“You sure you guys gotta go?" she asked even though she knew that they did. Haedyn’s lip caught between her teeth and she looked to the ground, gliding her toe in small circles as her hand reached back and rested against the stone for support. Again she wondered who would take the claim of heir, her mind continuing to circle back to Ivy. Maybe, quite possibly, the younger version of Willow would be there to stay? Or maybe they’d have a king, and a surprise was waiting for Nik when her were to show up. Haedyn smiled at the idea because she knew that, when he arrived, Connor would most likely beckon him up as well. If not then she would go to him, because what’s a batman without her robin? Just a man in an uncomfortable spanks-suit, she supposed. Haedyn giggled at the mental image of Nik wearing bright green tights and decided maybe that should be their next halloween adventure, because she knew they’d be doing something crazy. Eventually her mind came full circle until it finally settled on the time at hand and she waited for the rest of the mora to arrive.

| WE COULD BE IMMORTALS just not for long, for long, and live with me forever now. you pull the blackout curtains down, just not for long, for long. Rubbing a hand over his colorlessly, drained face, he blinked and groaned at the air around him before laying back down for another promised five minutes, which would unfortunately thirty minutes will take away that promised amount if he failed to keep his eyes open further. Lines, which stained down the sides of his cheeks, made the clear indication that he had been crying, as well as the hint of pink to his already tired orbs. Ears flattened against his hair, he stared at the ceiling with the refusal to admit how much he'll miss his family, only to have one individual at most to remain in his twenty five year stay of the royal land. Making a dull try to get back up, he sniffed back some more tears and cleaned himself up by taking a rather unforgivably long shower, which mostly consisted of him staring into space beneath the rush of hot water spitting from the shower head above him. It took him a good hour before he chose a suitable outfit to say goodbye in, loosing a portion of himself as he recognized some of the clothes Connor had handed down to him to keep, for he was too big and Nikolai was lean enough to wear them. Now they remain as a sad souvenir in his closet. Fitting into a pair of dark denim jeans and a clean black shirt with a white design across the bottom half, he ruffled his dampened hair and donned a soft grey beanie over his pinned, dog-like ears. If it weren't for his brother to make him promise to join the coronation, he would've rather stayed home and watched movies in the darkness of his room until he knew they were finally gone. At least then he wouldn't have to burst into tears and watch them go, and just wake up the next morning and act as if they never existed. Perhaps that would've made things easier to coup with, but he knew it wasn't right to think that way of his family. It was the depression that only served him to get worse as he refused to put forth a real smile for the sake of their happiness.
His glasses fogged as he choked on a set of tears bubbling from within as he made his way slowly to the door and outside where the light seemed to almost blind him enough to dry his sadness. Nikolai's tail dropped against his legs and swayed with the weight of how he walked down the path, spotting the Queen and King make their final stroll through the very kingdom they so beautifully ruled together. The image only made his insides twist, and he remained still, trying to catch his brother's gaze, but never getting the chance for he was too busy with looking at the scenery and nodding to the villagers. The Inu tried to be understanding, and continued on not far behind to the village's center, where all announcements and celebrations were made it seemed. Even their wedding, where he stood as best man next to his brother with one of the widest, cheeky smiles one had ever come to see upon his chubby face. Never was there a time did someone get to see the dimple in his cheek so prominent than such a time where he got to see his brother marry the girl of his dreams, who eventually became his sister almost. Though Willow and him did not have the strongest bond as in-laws, he respected her as equally as he would if she were blood, and gave them the best of his wishes for that their love stayed true. As he reached the circle of Mora, who slowly and gradually started to grow around the King and Queen of their kingdom, he saw Connor's eyes finally rest on him, and above the many heads, one of blonde hair and fine eyebrows started to weave forwards to Willow's presence. He knew those eyebrows from anywhere, and laughed beneath his breath before he too was beckoned among them. Happily walking to his brother, he knew that the tears were there and ready to stream, but he didn't care. "I really need a hug before you leave, ya know..." He attempted to laugh passed the slight choking. With open arms, he flung them around Willow and his brother with a strong embrace, sniffing hard before latching to Connor with the attempt to speak, "I love you, man. Remember that for me, will ya?" He said, letting them go slowly as he wiped his nose on his arm in an almost geeky, awkward manner.
When he saw his friend standing there, he cleared the sensitivity in his expression and put on his best 'mask' of manliness as he could muster, "How you doin'." Nikolai said in fake accent, holding his hip rather sassily and leaning one hand up like as if there were a wall, only to loose his balance and catch himself a few feet away. "I totally meant to do that." Said he with blushing cheeks, glancing at Willow and Connor with hope that they didn't see that. They totally did. TAG: --- ● WORDS: --- ● OUTFIT: Link ---

| Standing atop one of the buildings on the edge, the black-haired Maston gazed down at the streets with dark gold eyes surveying the area. He had been playing some piano pieces in Borgia Hotels last night all the way into the morning. A classy piece for classy, upscale clientele and so, he had been dressed for the occasion. Purple long-sleeved shirt, buttoned-up black vest, black tie, black pants, black dress shoes. The usual combination. He was a tall guy with a lean build and broad shoulders. The combination made him look good which was what he needed to look like when he was playing at a place like Borgia Hotel. He heard something in the distance, over-large cat ears twitching and glanced to his side. There were some figures loitering about one building away. He took note of each of them. The Queen? He supposed so. And then there were the other three surrounding her. The next figure he’d look for was the King. The King who he supposed was the cause for this sudden celebration. Which it had to be the male that was being hugged by the other male. The Brigadier? Interesting. Celebrations were celebrations. And traditions were traditions. But safety was paramount. He took note of the others there. There was only one female that he saw besides the Queen. They were all smiling and happy. It didn’t look like there was going to be a fight. Or any trouble. He knelt down on one knee, peering at the event unfolding before him. He’d watch from afar, for it was better to keep out of the festivities to concentrate the surroundings. And he wasn’t much one for parties. He’d come later when there weren’t so many Mora. Why break up a happy gathering? He did however extend his congratulations from a distance as courtesy demanded. He’d come to join the festivities when the excitement had died down a little and the newborn king wasn’t surrounded by so many people. He was a Mora of few words and was more or less, blunt and straight-forward. Congratulations. That was all he needed to say. | |

| Those who do not reply will be either: Demoted and/or deleted. It is not required that you post a FULL paragraph, just at least say 'they are there' or 'Person has entered the area', nothing glamorous. This is just to guarantee activity since the huge time skip.
Things to clarify:
Connor is not being promoted, he's been King of the Mora for 23 years. Willow and Connor have a daughter in college. Everyone should know this.

| Between the exchanges of goodbyes and hugs, Willow had found her fingers weaving between Connor’s and holding tight. She squeezed her beloved’s hand a few times as her Mora gathered. The queen had never been so happy to see her peaceful band of survivors until that moment. Eventually they all managed to amass and Willow plucked a flower from the ground. She let go of Connor’s hand and walked over to Haedyn, her eyes watering. Holding up the flower, she took the other woman’s hand and began her very last speech to her people. “As you all know, for some time now your king and I have planned to leave. We are not abandoning you at all; we promise to visit when we can. I saved the original Mora from the labs a very long time ago and have built this sanctuary for all. There is nothing but peace between us all and the world outside of these borders, so I leave with a clean conscience that my people are going to survive. We are survivors, after all. As for the ranking, you all know that your invitations read that a coronation has come. I am stepping down from my leadership to place it in what I believe to be the rightful hands. I have picked the heir to my throne and am very satisfied with my choice; I hope you all will feel the same. No doubt, the hands I leave the Mora in are hands that our true leader would accept with more than open arms. Please bow in respects to Queen Haedyn!” With that, Willow’s leadership left her. It was done, and she couldn’t of been happier. The woman caught Haedyn’s expression, and to her it looked like a mixture of confusion and shock. Willow smiled and curtsied to the newfound queen, her head bent low in respect as hopefully lead the others to do so with acceptance.
When she raised from her stance, Willow took Haedyn’s hands in her own and smiled brightly. “I just know you will be great for this. I have no doubt that, if Grey knew you, it would definitely be what he would have wanted. I trust you, Haedyn. You will not let them down, I can feel the light we’ve reached from the end of the tunnel. Please tell me you’ll accept the leadership. Please?” Wilow’s face almost fell, but then she caught the slightest of nods from the other woman and her expression lit up happily. She bounced girlishly on the balls on her and hugged Haedyn as tight as her petite body would allow. The neko felt the weight lift from her chest and felt the sun shining down on her heart-shaped face. The festivities began and she graced everyone with food and drink. Afterwards there was music and dancing until the place seemed to settle down. From across the space Willow caught her beloved’s eye and held it, giving him a question. Her head nodded towards their vehicles that had been loaded with their belongings before she smiled, trying to tell him that it was time. She went her rounds to hug everyone before she got to Haedyn. Willow dipped her head in respect and gave a small little bow. “Your Highness,” she said before barreling towards Headyn to give her the largest hug of her life. Her eyes watered anew, but they were filled with happy tears as she pulled back and stroked the new queen’s hair from her face. “I love you, my sister. I’ll be seeing you again before you know it. Don’t forget to have fun, Haedyn.. You don’t have to change a bit.” It was then that Willow turned from the miniature party to meet her husband, twining her fingers with his as they left. On the journey out her eyes looked back, but her mind moved on to their own piece of paradise.

| He released her hand for just a small second as his brother latched onto him, tears of both joy and sadness filling his own, but evaporating quicker than Nikolai's before they fell from his hues. Connor let out a chuckle and embraced the man with brute strength, pure happiness glowing from within for just a few more tight moments until he brought down his arms from the Inu and back around his Queen once she too had gathered her loving sibling beside the two men. "You say that like I'm dying, brother." His smiling eyes twinkled, "-this isn't forever, I promise you. I love you too much to make this an everlasting absence. There will be a time where we will see each other again.. You have my word, but silence shall be upon us.. Willow has something to say." He muttered to only Nikolai before turning to his wife with a nod to let her speak. Pinching his younger brother's shoulder and pulling him to his empty side, he eyed him with a sudden familiar friendliness, the reminder that this would be the last for a good while before they'd see each other again. The royal couple planned to return when things got lonely back in their new home, and they'd make it the best before leaving once more. Still, the King could not bring himself to cry or stress more from the fact that this moment was both cheerful and depressing all the same. He held onto his beloved for good measure, keeping Nikolai's broad shoulder within his fingers to keep him at bay as his Queen's words bellowed over the mass of Mora before them all. It was amazing to see what progress the kingdom was able to fulfill since reaching such lands, being the first of their kind other than his wife to enter and make wonderful memories upon the soil that led up to this day. He smiled proudly to whom he had accepted and befriended along the way as being both Brigadier male and their King. It was then did he watch his love let go of his hand in exchange for her sister's, which he did not mind, he only watched with a smile and gently shook his brother by the shoulder to reveal such excitement rumbling in his bones. Today was an important day for all of them. When it was announced that Haedyn was to take the throne once they left these lands, his cheeks began to hurt from too much grinning. After Willow congratulated her, he stepped forwards to kiss her hand, retreated to his spot near his brother and wife, and bowed on one leg to the newly crowned individual with his fist against his chest and the other behind his back. He imagined his brother and male Mora of the crowd to follow while the women would curtsey like their now former Queen.
Getting back up with his brother in response, he put his hand on Nikolai's back and smiled to the crowd, "But may that not be the only thing you bow to, my friends, for I've discussed with my wonderful wife that not only Haedyn be crowned Queen, but that my brother too be given the rank of a true right side. I trust you all to keep your new Queen protected and safe, treating her just as you would for us and your neighbors. I've made peace with this kingdom and earned a love I could not compare. We leave with confidence " Addressing his sibling next to him, he shook his hand and peered back to the crowd with his usual winning smile. Taking a glass of wine that was near, handing one to his wife as well as two more to the promoted pair, one for himself, he raised it high and proud, "To Queen Haedyn and Brigadier Nikolai!" And then they'd all cheer and tap glasses with one another's before taking a drink and celebrating with what was provided for the entire crowd. As time passed and he was able to speak with Nikolai alone from the crowd before dismissing him to the rest, he granted a last, sincere goodbye to some of those to whom he knew before catching the last few sentences of his wife to her sister before she too let Haedyn go. They found each other among the mass and nodded it was time to leave once and for all. He kissed her hand as soon as their fingers knitted, squeezing them gently as a fresh set of tears settled in the dips of his eyes. His olive eyes settled on her as well as a soft, loving smile. As the pair headed towards the light over the hill, he turned back towards the same time as his wife and waved his kingdom a final goodbye fore turning back and heading into the sunlight. All their homes and dreams awaited a new life - and it was them who reached out together and grasped it with a bare hand.
