Wrong Side Of Heaven [Wesley/Kenai] Empty

Life had been changing so quickly for Diallo. Everything was once fitting into place. He found a fantastic home, an adoring mate to love, and even a darling and gorgeous child to call his own. The pack was growing and spreading to all kinds of shifters. This was good. Everything had once been fine. Once. But now things were starting to change and it was something Diallo was not too fond of. He had heard the story of how his daughter was attacked by a lone tiger and as a protective father, he wanted revenge. As the male left his den, he looked over the sleeping body of his mate, but did not wake her. He would take care of this creature on his own. He shifted to his massive tiger form, orange and black stripes ran down his body. His large paws pushed against the ground as he made his way out of the territory. His eyes were set on the future, his mind thought of all the things he would do to this beast for the acts he did to Shailene. He released a growl as he was thinking about it. His ears perked, listening for any noises around him. When he ventured for the neutral lands, he smelled the scent of the monster. Again he growled and snarled, while his teeth were bared. When he made it to the large smoking mountain named, Big Smokey. He did not care for this place, though he would go anywhere after the scent of the perpetrator. Diallo searched for hours, until the day had flipped to night and the moon was high in the sky. But soon the predator would find exactly what he was looking for. The den of the beast, but it was not here. He snarled and stared to the entrance. He would sit and wait for the creature to come. But in the silence, he could smell the scent of a human. It was far from where he was, but he did not care about it. He was too focused on waiting for the tiger to return home.

Wesley was unsure exactly how he was going to discover the location of the Rex, but Lucian had promised him he would assist in finding him. The two had met in the night after Lucian had tracked him to this neutral area. Armed with two pistols, one on his hip and the other in the band of his pants, he made sure he had enough ammunition to keep himself from harm. A black tactical vest was strapped around his torso, which caused him to feel safe from the attack of any rounds in return to his act. Earlier that day he took apart and cleaned each of his weapons, making sure they functioned perfectly. The last thing he needed would be to have one misfire and jam. He was strapped to the teeth, for good measure. He listened to the directions the wolf gave him, and was soon on his way. He drove the HMWWV out to the neutral territory and parked it a decent way from where the tiger was said to be. He did not need the sound of the engine to catch his attention, though his scent might be a problem. He moved slowly towards the large cat. His brown eyes watched the creature staring at the den before it. What was he doing? Flapping the strap which held his pistol in place, he pulled it from the holster. As he readied the pistol with one round, he looked down the barrel and approaching the great Rex, he held a steady grasp on the pistol grip. He took slow breaths, trying to keep his heart rate down so he would not miss on the shot. It seemed the creature was far too concerned with what was happening in the den before it to even see that he was there or even so close to the tiger. Welsey walked slowly, one foot in front of the other. He was cautious, but it did not stop him now. There was no going back. It was now or never. Holding his arm out straight, the metal of the barrel touched the tender part of the tiger just behind his ear. "Say good night pussy cat." Before the cat could react or even know what was going on, he pulled the trigger. The recoil shot backwards, but with his expertise of weapons, it barely even bothered him. As the end of the barrel was smoking, the limp body of the tiger fell to the ground. Holstering his weapon, he stared at the body. He pulled out his phone and waited for a sufficient amount of blood to pool around the body before he snapped a picture. Once the picture was saved in his phone, he sent it to Lucian with the text "mission accomplished" beneath it. He walked back to the HMWWV and jumped into the driver's seat. He drove back to the humans' land and never looked back.

[This is going to be short due to lack of internet..]

Kenai had been wandering the lands and realized that his Rex was no longer in the lands. Why would Diallo leave so quickly? Surely he was looking for something and surely he would need some sort of help. He had a great respect for both the Regina and Rex. He wandered after him, but as he approached the deep jungle, he smelled the scent of a human. It was not uncommon, and he even liked the humans. He had been close to one for many years of his young life. He could say that he trusted them, to an extent. But as he drew nearer their position, he heard the sound of a gun shot. It was something he knew more than the sound of his own beating heart. His heart dropped in his chest and quickly he shifted to his grizzly form. He growled and charged to the scene. when he arrived, a car was speeding off in the distance, while Diallo laid in his feline form. His body was sprawled out and blood pooled from his head. What a horrible thing had happened here. Angry from another loss in his life, he lifted his chin and roared to the neutral lands. The call rang through the trees, and shook the beings from their homes. He picked up the Rex and carried him back towards the Shifter lands. He walked carefully, even though he could feel the blood dripping from the body. He brought him back to Eden's den and placed his body on the ground before the entrance. He whined and waited for the Regina to come out.
